this is the death of me, i feel it constantly,JUST LIKE AN ENEMY, THAT WANTS TO SEE ME BLEEDKaycee knew it had been a bad idea, but that didn't stop her from doing it. It didn't matter how good her life had been going lately, there was always going to be that lingering voice telling her she still needed her fix. Love didn't take that away, she was the best example for that. She needed her alcohol, and that was just what she was going to get. In fact, she had brought her skateboard and an open container of vodka to the skate park, for whatever reason, well.. she had been bored. And Cassius hadn't really seemed in the best mood either, so she was going to have fun all by herself, and that was what she was doing right exactly now. With the neck of the bottle pressed firmly against her palm, and the skateboard laying beside the girl she couldn't help but smirk as she eyed the empty park. She was all by herself, which made things all the more fun for her.
It meant if she fucked up and dropped the bottle she could escape before someone else found it or heard it. It was quite known around town the open bottles of liquor weren't allowed where someone could easily get hurt. She didn't care. Tipping her head back slightly the bottle met her lips and the liquid rushed to the back of her throat, letting it sit there and burn for a while she giggled. Kaycee had already downed a half of the bottle and she was well on her way to being drunk. The worst part was that this was her lost bottle, and she was running out fast. That didn't matter though as she set the bottle down and rose to her feet, eying two skateboards that were really just one she placed her foot on top of it, rolling it back and forth while her other foot lay firm on the ground.
With a little giggle she let her other foot rise on top of the skateboard, gliding her right one over the pavement to make her go forward. It was a rocky start, but she was now riding the skateboard she had grown to love over the years. It was her getaway from everything, especially in times like these. She hated when Cassius was in a bad mood, it was partially why she was drinking now. That and the fact that she had been craving it for a while now. It wasn't as if she couldn't drink with Cass, she knew she could, it was just the fact that she was trying to help him become the person he wanted to be, and that was a person out of alcoholism. He wasn't addicted she knew that, it was just the fact that it messed with his system, he was a different person when he drank, but that was only sometimes. Depending on his mood, he could be the sweetest or the meanest when drunk.
It was her turn now, she was the one that needed a drink, and that was exactly what she was doing. That, and skating away what she felt. Her balance was off though, she knew it hadn't been a good idea from the beginning, but then again, what was ever a good idea when you were nearly drunk. With a loud giggle the girl glided her foot over the pavement once again, gaining speed as she was slowly beginning to lose her balance more, and within a few seconds the girl stumbled over and fell flat on her ass. fucking hell! she exclaimed, an almost demented smile spreading across her plush lips. Sprawling out the girl couldn't help but to burst into laughter, not caring that she had fallen or the pain it had caused her. Nothing mattered when she was like this. Or at least, she was trying to feel that way.
But now that she had that euphoria feeling going, she wanted to test everything. It seemed as if she were almost trying to make him mad. What could he really do though? hit her? she dared him. He wouldn't be able to get far if he did, Kaycee wouldn't have it. No matter how sad and pathetic she was as a person, she wasn't about to let him treat her like he did his sister. It wasn't like that, and he had told her from the very beginning he wouldn't, and even now, she believed him. He knew good and well what would happen if he did. I'm at the skate park, bring vodka and your angry self, yes? Sending a quick text his way she sighed as she crawled over to her bottle of vodka, pressing it to her lips as she fell back over on her back, taking a long sip as she closed her eyes, now waiting for him to arrive in a bad mood no doubt.

Lately, Cassius had been in one of his moods. One of those funks that he just couldn’t seem to get himself out of. He hated those funks and that was usually when he kept to himself. Sure, Kaycee hated it when he got like this, but he didn’t want to dare see what would happen if he were to snap when she was around. The last thing he wanted to do was to hurt her. He loved her. He already hurt enough people that he loved in his life and he wasn’t going to add her to that group. He couldn’t, not know exactly what she had been through. Sure they had their screaming matches, but usually Cass could keep his anger somewhat under control when she was around. She had a different hold on him than his sister and his mother and he didn’t think he could ever lay his hands on her… but he’d never say never – that was something he learned at a young age. He had sworn that he’d never be like his father… but here he was… following right in the man’s footsteps. Hurting the people that he was supposed to love most. The thought alone was enough to push Cass in to his dark corner. This weird mood that he was in. He couldn’t quite explain it, but he didn’t want to have to try and figure it out. What had put him here? Maybe it was the alcohol, maybe it was he weed or the drugs… he didn’t know. He had slipped out of his ‘not going to drink too much’ and he’d gotten plastered with a friend a few nights ago. It warranted him coming home and yelling for his sister; almost begging her to do something so that he could teach her a lesson. But she wasn’t around, so instead there was a large hole in his bedroom wall.
He had been drinking all day, today. He had skipped classes and wasn’t really in the mood for doing much. All he wanted to do was sit around and smoke some weed and drink his vodka. Wallowing was also included, but he’d never admit that out loud. He hated feeling sorry for himself, but he couldn’t help it. He didn’t know how to control this shit. He didn’t know what he needed to do to get himself better. Sure, he probably needed the help of a doctor or therapist or some shit, but he didn’t trust doctors or therapists. It was hard for Cassius Rhodes to trust anyone for that matter. Kaycee was the first person that he ever really opened up to and he felt like he was still closed off from her sometimes. It was just difficult for him, to let people in completely. He wanted to be able to have a normal relationship, but his father fucked that all up for him. Cass would never be normal, therefore he’d never have a normal relationship with anyone. Then again, what was normal, right?
Hearing his phone buzz on the table in front of him, he took a hit from his joint and picked it up. He knew who it was and he wasn’t sure what exactly to expect. His gaze narrowed in on his phone as he read the text message she sent him. His lips pursed and he had a feeling that she was probably already two sheets to the wind. He grabbed the full bottle of vodka and shoved it in to his other hand, leaving the joint in his mouth as she shoved his cell phone in his pocket. He didn’t need to send her a text back and he didn’t need to really let her know that he was coming. Things weren’t going to be pretty… he knew that for some reason, but he went anyway. He let his legs carry him to the skate park where his girlfriend would be waiting for him. Why did they do this to themselves? They knew it was toxic for them, but for whatever reason when they were like this they were more magnetic than ever. They just couldn’t seem to stay away from each other. He finished the joint by the time he got to the skate park so he was high and drunk and sipping on the bottle of vodka as he entered the vacant park. He was surprised to see that it was so empty, but it was better for them. Maybe he’d toss her down on one of the ramps and screw her brains out. He smirked a bit at the thought of that and it put him In a slightly better mood. At least for the next twelve seconds until he saw her and the empty bottle of vodka near her. Rolling his eyes slightly he took a long swig of his vodka and lifted his chin, I’m here… what the hell do you want? He asked quickly, and took another sip of his vodka. Besides my vodka and my manhood? The sly smirk slipped over his lips as he moved a bit closer to her, wondering how the rest of the day was going to go down.

this is the death of me, i feel it constantly,JUST LIKE AN ENEMY, THAT WANTS TO SEE ME BLEEDKaycee honestly had no idea of her intention of him coming down to meet her here. Her mind was obviously not working the way it was supposed to and that fact was obvious by the way the girl still hadn't gotten up after her fall. She didn't want to, and honestly she wasn't even sure if she had the strength to. It was far too comfortable to just sit here and stare up at the sky, unfortunately the bottle was nearly empty, and she was just waiting on Cassius now, he was sure to bring a bottle, and if he didn't well that would suck for her, but she knew him well, and seeing as he was in one of his moods, he would most definitely carry one around with him. Now he may not share, but there would definitely be a bottle in those large hands of his.
She wasn't scared though, whether it be the feeling of the alcohol in her system or the knowledge that he would never hurt her, she wasn't scared. Besides, she knew she had her ways of getting the liquid from him. She was after all his girlfriend, she knew exactly what he liked and disliked when it came to physicality and she wasn't scared to use that to her advantage. It wasn't like the skate park was busy. She was the only one here and if she had to, she wouldn't take a second thought at stripping a few articles of clothing to get a little more of the liquid she so desired. Not to mention she did want to see him, even if he was in one of his moods, and she was sure that he was by now. How could he not be? He had been for a while now and it was really starting to take a toll on the girl, maybe she could get him out of it in this little visit as well.
It wasn't long though that she heard footsteps and a small smirk couldn't help but appear on the girl's soft features. Her eyes fluttered shut as she willed them to get closer and closer, a small shiver running down her spine as a familiar voice rang in her ears. Kaycee let out a small grunt as she turned herself over on her stomach, facing him now. It didn't matter that his tone was harsh, or that words that he spoke. The fact that he had cursed at her and the fact that he was being rude. She was too gone to recognize the hardness in his demeanor, she didn't care at this point. All she wanted was him, and his vodka. Her thoughts slowed at this point, she wasn't quite sure what she was thinking, all she knew was that she wanted him to come closer, and she wanted the bottle that he held in his tight and firm grip.
It was one of the many things the girl loved about Cassius. He was strong, he was powerful. Kaycee had always been attracted to power. No, she wasn't a masochist or anything like that. But there were times where the girl didn't mind being rough as long as no one got hurt. And the fact that she knew he could throw her around, just delicately enough not to hurt her, but turn her on at the same exact moment was something she still hadn't forgotten to this day. Of course with him being drunk, delicate kind of flew out the window, but at this very moment the girl didn't care. With a soft shrug and a smirk being sent his way the girl spoke, why do I have to want anything.. love? she said, tilting her head to the side, questioning him.
She couldn't help the smirk that grazed her lips as he continued, mmm, baby I already have your manhood. she said, winking a bit. but you should really come a little closer so I can be reminded... and bring that lovely bottle with you, yes? she said, licking her lips slowly as a small shiver ran down her spine again, smiling widely as he took another step closer without her saying anything. With a small giggle the girl turned over to lie on her back again, trusting him to take those few steps closer and join her as her eyes were drawn to the sky.
It hadn't been a very sunny day, and honestly the weather was just right. The sun was hidden among the many clouds in the sky and it caused her eyes to drift from cloud to cloud, picking out shapes and pictures in her head from the many sizes of the clouds. It had been one of her favorite things to do when she was a kid. Not that she liked to remember a whole lot about her childhood, however, she could honestly say that looking at clouds had been one of the few things she missed. Thoughts were drawn back to her brother momentarily and the conversations she had been having with him lately. she couldn't stand it. Any thought of him in general grossed her out, she couldn't handle it. And honestly, it was the reason for her drinking right now, and with that the girl's eyes were drawn back to Cassius, willing him to get closer.

The main question running through Cassius mind was, why? Why was he going to meet Kaycee, knowing fully well that he wasn’t in any sort of state to deal with her right now? Just like any other time when he was drunk or high lately. As much as he knew he loved her, she knew exactly what buttons to push to piss him off. That didn’t surprise him since she was friends with his sister. The only people in his life that knew how to flip his switch were the closest to him; it just didn’t seem fair. Then again, nothing about life was particularly fair. If it had been, then he probably wouldn’t be going through what he’s going through right now. He wished that he could just go back In time and fix everything, but he couldn’t. And that thought alone was enough to piss him off even more.
Chewing on his bottom lip, he took another swig of the vodka in his hands as he made his way out to the skate park. He didn’t know why, but he wasn’t that worried about going out there. He knew, deep down, that he could never actually physically hurt Kaycee. He didn’t know why, he had thought about it. Plenty of times when she pissed him off enough, he felt like smacking the shit out of her or just throttling her until she shut up. He couldn’t. That face, no matter how much it irritated him; it stopped him. He could be so pissed off at it and then he would be perfectly okay, he just didn’t get it sometimes. Kaycee had this weird sort of hold on her and he just couldn’t seem to pinpoint what exactly triggered it. Either way, she seemed to be the only person that he could stop himself for. That had to mean something, right? He thought so.
Arriving at the skate park, he felt the want to just slap the look off of her face, but he knew he’d never do that. It was just a thought. He hated when she looked so smug like that. It irritated him. It made him want to be angrier and want to go back home and just chug the rest of his bottle – alone. His jaw clenched slightly as he neared her, and he brought the bottle to his lips again and shook his head. You’ve had my manhood, you don’t own it. Get it right, Kayce. He grumbled. No one owned him. Not even Kaycee and he didn’t like people who thought they did own him – pretty much what she was doing now. She was only proving to piss him off more and he wanted to just throttle the stupidity out of her for the next few minutes.
Taking a few deep breaths, he shook his head and moved towards her, You’re acting like an idiot. He told her honestly. He was saying it to be demeaning or degrading; it was the truth. She was acting like an idiot and she was probably well aware of it. She was probably jacked up on some drug or another and obviously alcohol. That didn’t surprise him at all. He took another swig of the bottle and thrusted it over towards her. You’re going to make me regret, this, I hope you know that. He stated chewing on his bottom lip. He hated knowing that nothing good was going to come of this. They were going to fight, and he could feel it running through his veins. It was like they were both on the hunt for one and he had a feeling she was going to pick and pick until he finally snapped. When he snapped… all hell was sure to break loose.

this is the death of me, i feel it constantly,JUST LIKE AN ENEMY, THAT WANTS TO SEE ME BLEEDKaycee had a certain air about her at the moment. In fact, she always did when she was high off her ass or wasted like she was about to be. Cassius didn't like it... ever, and today was a certainly no exception. It was a cocky air really, that little feeling of euphoria. She could do anything, say anything, think anything right now without consequences. And she was sure that Cass had noticed by now. He hadn't really been in a particularly good mood lately. This was Kaycee's way of dealing with him. It was odd she knew, but it was effective. She hadn't seen him much ever since he had become this way, every other day maybe, and each time they bickered over something pointless. Kaycee had said the wrong thing, gone a little too far to push him off the edge. If it hadn't been for his promise to never hurt her, she shower she would have been knocked out cold on the ground before him.
It wasn't that Kaycee liked to test him like this, usually it was just the alcohol or drugs in her system kicking in, depending on what she took. And the only reason she had been drinking so much lately was to numb the pain of not having Cass around, not to mention the way she was treated lately. She would be glad when he returned to his normal state. The girl was tired of keeping her heart on lockdown from him. She wasn't used to it. He could have every single part of her; her mind, her soul, her heart, and her body. At this point, it was his to take. But holding off from him and not seeing him as much due to his depression was eating away at her. She wanted her cassius back, and she would do just about anything to get him back.
Kaycee missed their playful banter and his normal teases. Going to get ice cream for no other reason but to see each other, and most of all the quiet nights when he wandered over to her house to cuddle her as she watched a movie or two, which sometimes led to sex and him staying over that night. Kaycee missed these simple things, and the girl was still opening up to him, meaning that there was more to be discovered about their relationship together, given the time. Of course, even the drunk and depressed Cassius got what he wanted though. There had been tons of times where his anger had proven not to be a bad thing after all, at least for a night or two. But Kaycee was tired of anger, she wanted love, no, she needed love. Especially at a time like this in her life. Her brother was back and apathetic as ever. Her fear was masked over by the pain and hurt she harbored where Cassius was concerned. No, it wasn't for herself, she could handle it. She had been through far worse situations before, she was a big girl, she could get through it.
Kaycee watched him as he brought the bottle to his lips, half wishing to be the bottle that grazed his lips delicately and half wishing to be cass, savoring the harmful liquid sliding down his throat. I never said I owned it, but i have had it.. numerous times. she said, the smirk still playing at her full lips. All the girl could do was gaze at him and listen as he spoke, his words not being far away from sheer venom. His tone made things even worse, but at the current state of mind it only fueled her further. oh, am I? she scoffed, please tell me, oh great cassius, how I am being bad today? is it not by just breathing... living and being in your presence even? bitterness laced her every word. or at least.. that's how it's been lately. You've been missing quite a bit now these days, eh? she continued, finished with her little rant for a moment as she listened still.
Honestly, she didn't know half of what she was saying. The alcohol was far beyond kicking in and her vision was slightly blurred, she wanted him closer. It didn't stop her though from noticing when the bottle was shoved into her face, smirking and looking up at him as he spoke again. His words holding a double meaning to her, and kind of hitting home, well.. that is.. if she would have been sober. regret?! oh, boy. so now it's regret? fucking lovely she said, referring to their relationship as a whole to be what he was mentioning. The girl was appalled, but still she snatched the bottle from his hands and tilted it in the air quickly, the liquid singing her throat as it glided down easily.

This side of him was a side that he didn’t like, but Cass couldn’t help his mood swings. He didn’t know how to control them and all he knew was that Kayce couldn’t be around when he was having them because it just wasn’t good. It wasn’t good, because he didn’t want to break his promise to her. He promised her that he would never hurt her, ever. And he planned to keep that promise, no matter how angry she made him, or no matter how much he wanted to hurt her when she pressed his buttons. He couldn’t do it. He could never bring himself to physically, or otherwise, hurt her. Of course, he knew that withholding himself from her bothered her, but it was for her own good. He didn’t want to snap, he didn’t want that to happen. He especially didn’t want that to happen when Kaycee was around. She didn’t need to see him like that, no one did really.
Cassius rolled his eyes, Yes, you are. You’re making a fucking fool of yourself. He glowered at her and shook his head. He hated when she was like this, there was no reasoning with her. There was no way that he could talk his way through to her and of that he was pretty damn sure of. He wished he could, but there was no getting to her now, only to piss her off. He knew that’s pretty much what it was going to take. You’re acting like a god damn child, Kayce. Now get your ass up and straighten the fuck out. I don’t want to deal with you like this. He proclaimed. He just didn’t know how long he could hang on for this. How much he could really put up with before his final nerve was etched on and he was toppling over. He didn’t want to reach that point, but part of him knew that he would. Sighing, he brushed a hand through his hair and shook his head slightly. This was not how he wanted to spend his day. This was like nothing he had in mind at all.
When she spoke up again, he grunted a response and shook his head, No, fuck that… stop twisting my fucking words around, Kaycee Paige. He scolded her, letting her know that it was not the relationship he was talking about. It was what was going on right now. The mood he was in, the mood she was in. It was toxic for them, they both knew that. They both knew that this was bad for them. That this, whatever this was, was just tainting the deal he had made with her. That the closer he was to her when they were both in this state of mind, the more likely he was to just break. That he could possibly break his promise, but he wouldn’t. He was the more mature of the two… at least right now. He shook his head at her again. Just take the fucking bottle and go the fuck home. Sleep it off and everything will be fine in the morning or some shit… He tried to tell her – tried to convince her that she just needed to go home now. Would she listen? He wasn’t really sure. He was scared really of what could possibly happen between them, but he wouldn’t let it get any worse… he just… he couldn’t. He loved her with everything he had, it just scared him how much that really was. More than he had ever felt for anyone else in his life. She was special and he was sure that this would be like nothing he had ever experienced in his life. Just… go… damnit Kayce…

this is the death of me, i feel it constantly,JUST LIKE AN ENEMY, THAT WANTS TO SEE ME BLEEDThis was obviously getting them nowhere. They knew they shouldn't be around each other right now, or well, at least Cassius knew that. Kaycee couldn't stand to be away from him knowing that he was in a dark place. It hurt her to know that he was hurting and that she couldn't help him. Of course, she had tried to help in the past, but that only resulted in having him push her away and tell her that it was better if she just stayed away at times like this. And she understood that, really, the girl wasn't that clingy, it was just the fact that he had been in this mood for quite sometime now. Sitting around and waiting for him was just not an option, she wanted to see him, she wanted to be with him and most of all she wanted him to talk to her. She knew he would, it wasn't that he wouldn't open up to her, she just wanted him.
It was a simple thing to ask of, yet she couldn't get the satisfaction of having just that. If she wanted to talk to him, or see him for that matter, she had to act this way, even if she was making a fool of herself, she didn't care. And you think I give a damn, Cass? she scowled, shaking her head, You out of all people know I've never given a fuck what people think of me, why start now? she said, shrugging her shoulders loosely. It seemed like the further they went in this conversation, or argument rather, the more hurt she was becoming. She expected it really, they didn't deal well with each other when they were like this. It was dangerous for not only her, but him as well. She had heard him talk about how dangerous he was and how he didn't want her around when he was like this. Kaycee understood, she really did. But her days of understanding were over, she wanted him, raw and hurt, if that was all he was going to be, then she'd take it gladly.
She just wanted him, and whatever form he came in she would just have to learn to deal with. She shook her head violently, her blond locks dangling in front of her face for a moment before falling back to her shoulders, No, you don't get that right Cassius fucking Rhodes. Not now. she said biting her lip, attempting to lift herself up but falling to the pavement on her knees. She braced herself, not daring to get up again, I'm not your sister, I don't obey your every command. she said, clearly drunk. Kaycee would never even think of bringing up his sister had she been sober. It was a sore subject for him, and she knew that. There was no telling what effect it would have on him now, but being wasted as she was, the girl couldn't brace herself for whatever emotion she was about to see. However, she did remember one promise, and she hoped that it stood true. He wouldn't hurt her.
Kaycee rolled her eyes for what seemed to be the hundredth time. No, everything won't be better Cass, you're still going to be in this fucking mood that you can't seem to shake, and I'm tired of it! she said, lifting the bottle to her lips and finally standing to face him, swaying softly with unbalance. She shook her head, involuntary tears letting onto the pain she was feeling inside, even if she didn't express it as he told her to just go home, her head shook again, no... cass.. I don't want to go home... NO.. her voice was soft, quiet, before getting louder, desperation in her tone. She didn't want to leave, but she knew she should. She just couldn't pull herself away from him. They were simply magnetic.

Irritation gnawed at Cassius as he stood there. His dark eyes darkened even more as he listened to her go on and on. All he wanted was for her to shut the hell up and stop nagging him. She nagged him like his fucking mother used to, before he made her shut up… for good. Of course, the thought of how that happened darkened Cass’ mood even more because he regretted that night more than anything. He never thought he would be that guy, but he had turned and flipped and became a man that he never thought he’d ever see again. His father. Kaycee could tell him a hundred and twelve times over that she was nothing like that man, but he was. He was just like that man and he hated himself for it. He hated the fact that he hurt his mother and his sister.
His eyes sparked a flame when she snapped at him stating that she wasn’t his sister. His blood was boiling and he wanted to hit something, but he knew that he couldn’t break his promise… he would never lay a hand on Kaycee. I know you’re not my fucking sister, Kaycee… but god damnit would you fucking listen to me? He yelled, his voice raising a few octaves. His jaw clenched tightly, the last thing he wanted to do was hurt her. He loved her and right now… right now was not good for them. He just wanted to get over this funk… he just wanted to go back to the way he was when he was with Kaycee. You’re pushing my buttons… like you always fucking do. You need to stop… step the fuck back and stop what you’re doing. He bit his lip and tried to calm himself, but that was like calming a raging bull at this point.
Pinching the bridge of his nose, he balled the free hand up and kept it at his side. He was about to snap. He could see it now. He needed to get away from all of this, she was just making him crazy right now and he just couldn’t take it anymore. He watched her carefully as she turned around and the tears on her cheeks made his insides churn and he shook his head. Fuck, Kaycee… I don’t want to fucking do this. I don’t want to be this angry with you. Why do you fucking do this to us? Why do you have to push my fucking buttons?! He yelled, his voice cracking slightly as his anger and his regret started to twist together. He shook his head and tried to clear his head. I need to fucking get out of here before I do something stupid… keep the fucking vodka… He growled lowly before turning on his heel and starting to retreat back the way he came.

this is the death of me, i feel it constantly,JUST LIKE AN ENEMY, THAT WANTS TO SEE ME BLEEDKaycee was done. She was tired of listening and she was tired of screaming at him, nothing was getting through that thick skull of his and nothing would. He was a stubborn person right now, one with a problem and she was sure he wouldn't listen to her if she had something to say. That was just fucking fine. She wasn't listening either, she had stopped right after her last statement. She was too drunk to care what he had to say, it would only be bullshit to her anyway. Of course.. these weren't her true feelings. These were just drunk feelings that the girl was in between having, and they weren't about to stop. She knew what she was saying was true, he hadn't been in a good mood lately, and he thought that he could order her around if he wanted, well. he was fucking wrong, and she was in the midst of proving just that to him. It was probably why this seemed so... fatal right now. It was fatal for them both. They needed each other far too much to let this take over their minds.
However, at a moment where her thoughts had subsided, she had let his voice protrude her thoughts for a moment, rolling her eyes and shaking her head, No, I'm fucking done listening to you Cassius, I don't want to anymore, you act like you have some kind of fucking power over me and you definitely fucking don't. she said, practically growling in his direction as she lifted the glass bottle to her lips once more, not being lady-like or reserved in the least bit. Wiping her mouth with her sleeve she continued. All you ever do anymore is sit and sulk in your fucking house... I'm done with this. she said, obviously not knowing anything that was coming out of her mouth like it was. This was poisonous for them, and she really needed to stop. She just couldn't though, it was on the tip of her tongue, and it had been ever since he had gotten here and started to argue with her like he was now.
So she pushed his buttons all the time, did she? Kaycee shook her head disapprovingly, oh, all the time you say? she scoffed, putting her hand over her chest and tilting back her head to release an obnoxious laugh, then why do you fucking date me Cassius? Why do you even bother if push your buttons so goddamn much, hm? she said, shaking now with anger. She couldn't control what she was saying now, it was all the alcohol taking its toll on her judgment and mind. She was going to regret the things she said today, and she knew it in the back of her mind. Of course the girl noticed when his hand balled up and rested at his side, her jaw clenched immediately, almost as if expecting the hit immediately from him, but her hair continued to be misplaced by the shaking of her head, Oh, so you're going to fucking hit me now, Cassius? thought you said you never were, eh? she said, knowing she shouldn't go there with him, knowing she should never push him this far. She couldn't help it though, part of her was still shocked that he had clenched his fist in the first place.
As he had told her that he needed to leave the girl scowled, nodding her head as if she had 'won the war'. fucking good. Don't come back either. she said, feeling accomplished for whatever reason. It was still the alcohol talking. At this point and time the girl was pleased with herself, resting her knees back on the pavement and watching him walk away, clenching her jaw and rolling her eyes at him as often as she could. It was only a few minutes later (after she had let him walk a bit) that she realized what she had done. The tears came slowly. ... Cass... she shook her head, but this time it was in despair as she struggled to her feet, walking in the direction he had disappeared in, n-no.. cass.. come back..
