the character
Amanda Shea Kennedy-Vanders is a Sophomore in high school. Her hometown is New York, New York by the beach. She has traveled the world with her parents and sister (the Kennedys) who thought she was the failure child and neglected/mentally abused her. This girl has lived in many places including Ireland, Australia, Italy, Texas and California. The last place she lived was Bluewater, California. In Bluewater, Amanda was adopted by one of her friends, Kassandra Vanders. Kassie was more of a sister than a mother to her. She was insanely wealthy and spoiled the kid, but their relationship wasn't focused on the money. They had the best relationship, it was practically like everyday was a sleepover with her closest friend. There were no secrets that were kept and they had fun all the time. Kassie had many boyfriends which caused a lot of mixed feelings for the little freshman. The first boyfriend hated Amanda, and she hated him too. He kicked her out after he found out that she lost her virginity to a seventeen year old. Manda is still a bit scarred for life because of that. Then the next few were just normal, she didn't care too much for them. The last one Amanda actually liked. He cared for both her and Kassie. The guy even helped Amanda out when she came home piss drunk and was vomiting everywhere. Then...the first boyfriend came back and this girl was not to thrilled. He convinced Kassie to move to New York with him and his family. Little Amanda was indecisive about moving so she decided to stay behind for a while in Bluewater in the Vanders mansion until she made up her mind. So, the girl moved back to her hometown temporarily and decided that she did, in fact, like California better. Kass rented a house for her in Kingsford and enrolled her in the local high school. Kassie knew that one of her close friends, Keaton, live here and asked her to keep an eye out for Amanda. Amanda is new to this town and thinks she is ready to take on the world after all she has been though.
Amanda Shea Kennedy-Vanders is a wild child, always looking for an adventure. She loves crazy parties and hot guys and Marvel comics. Alcohol is a must. It's the Irish in her that causes her to get drunk a lot. She's a fun drunk, not a violent one. This girl lost her v-card at the age of fourteen and is not ashamed of it. As for hot guys, she prefers making out with all of them to having sex with all of them. As for drugs and smoking, she's never done it steadily. She does have a cigarette every once in a while when she is extremely stressed, but thats about it. And Amanda on drugs...oh that would be quite a night. This girl is obsessed with your classic cartoon superheros. She actually wore a hot pink Batman cape almost every day until the beginning of Freshman year. As a freshman, Amanda made Varsity Soccer and Varsity Basketball. She like basketball more even though she was uber short. She's only around 5'-5'2'' now, but she was around 4'9-4'11 last year. Manda likes to show off what she has a bit, not money wise, but her skill in sports. She's always practicing and practically lives on the court. The girl grew up playing street basketball in the ghetto that surrounded the little Irish town that she lived in. Hanging around in the ghetto, she gained the attitude that she has today. Being short in the ghetto, she needed to make herself heard. Her nickname is McShortstack. So, she is a loud-mouthed firecracker. Speaking of fire, this innocent looking girl is a pyromaniac. She blew up so many microwaves that she couldnt even count them all. She set the kitchen on fire, set Kassie's car on fire, set her enemy on fire, etc. She likes using matches/a lighter, hairspray and lighter fluid. Amanda is allergic to hairspray, Florida and stupid people. She isn't the sharpest crayon in the box either. She has always had ADD, ADHD and Dyslexia, which effect her grades a lot. Academics never interested her, she always liked her acting classes and gym the best.

[/b][/color]" She intended on getting even with her sister for moving her alarm clock and setting it for 10 AM. She knew that her sister had watched her walk into the house last night, well, earlier this morning. Maddison stumbled in at around three in the morning, drunk as ever. Her sister hated when she did that, but Maddi couldn't care less.
Maddison crawled under her bed toward the seriously obnoxious beeping noise and rolled back out with the alarm clock. She slammed her palm onto the top of it to make the noise, and her headache, stop. The girl didn't really know what to do next. She was used to waking up at four in the afternoon and going straight to a jam session with the band and then going out for the rest of the night partying. Well, she had about six hours to waste and a coffee would soothe the aches of her hangover.
From her position on the floor, the girl crawled blindly into her bathroom, showered, dried her hair and reapplied her daily dose of glitter, smudgy eyeliner and mascara. She moved her mop-like hair around and then gave up. There was no hope for her hair, it wasn't going to get any calmer. Maddi dressed in her usual choice of apparel: a t-shirt, ripped shorts, fishnets, black boots, sunglasses and gold bangles. She grabbed her bag and headed toward the door 'accidentally' kicking the door to her twin sister's room and knocking a few pots and pans off of the counter on her way out. "Later Loser," she called to her sister as she exited.
Maddison got into her car and flung her bag onto the passenger's side seat. Yes, her car was a mess, but it didn't phase the girl. She flipped through a stack of CDs before finally shoving one into the right slot. Her fingers cranked up the volume dial, a hardcore guitar solo exploded out of her Cadillac convertible as she drove to the Starbucks nearby.
Parked and waiting on the line, Maddison didn't even have to think about what she was going to order. Being a Manhattan girl, she was always seen at Starbucks. It used to be part of her usual routine before she moved here and dropped out of high school. When it was her turn, her order flooded out of her mouth in one large breath. "Triple Grande one-forty degree Caramel Mocchiato no foam fudge on the whip." The lady taking her order looked at Maddison as if she was crazy and then scrambled to fulfill her order. Maddi took her coffee off of the counter, threw down the right amount of money in coins and turned around, scanning the room.
Maddison's eyes fell upon a familiar face and began to walk over toward her. She couldn't remember her name, but she definitely knew the girl. She plopped down in the empty chair at the table and pushed her sunglasses up so that they acted at a headband, holding her wild, blonde mane back. "I know you from somewhere...were you the one who drew on me last night at the bar?" Maddi rolled up her sleeve revealing a purple, glittery squirrel drawn on her arm with a sharpie. She smiled and rolled her other sleeve up to match the other, unveiling her 'Ruthless' tattoo that slithered up her wrist to the crease in her elbow.
