Sleeping was probably one of Scott’s most favourite things to do and today the twenty three year old was lucky enough to catch a few extra hours of sleep. His head rested atop the chest of a younger male while he curled up the rest of his body against the warm, larger frame of another man. The man simply loved sharing a bed with another person, he felt a lot more comfortable with someone else than sleeping alone. He especially liked when he got to sleep with Grey. Sure, the younger man could be a little cruel sometimes, but he loved the younger college student none the less. Actually, Scotty found that the guy could be cute when he wanted to. It was pretty damn adorable if someone ever caught the young man blushing.
Though there was enough of that for one morning. Scotty was usually a pretty deep sleeper, but today he had been woken up by then morning sun blaring in his face. Stifling a soft groan, the twenty three year old gently ran his fingers over Grey’s chest, using his free hand to shield his eyes as he struggled to get out of bed. Standing up, the bartender rubbed his eyes softly as he watched the younger male sleep. Biting down on his lip, he scratched his hip, fingers delving a little lower to scratch underneath the waistband of his boxers. Taking a minute, the male looked away and crossed the room to dig around in the dresser, pulling a large teeshirt over his head before heading out of the bedroom.
Now that he was up, the university student thought that he might as well make breakfast. Maybe a big meal would satisfy Grey this morning. Pulling open the freezer, Scott peered inside and pulled out some frozen bacon. He set it on the counter and began to pull out other things. He had grabbed eggs, milk and some other stuff so that the male could make some pancakes and scrambled eggs. After everything was cooked, he’d have to get out the maple syrup as well, but for now this would be okay.
With a huge grin on his face, Scotty had set to work, cooking a big breakfast for him and Grey. The smells wafted through the apartment as sizzling and other food related noises filled the room.

Grey was a pretty light sleeper most nights, but sleeping with someone else always seemed to help him a bit. And he especially liked sharing his bed with Scott. Just like he was that particular day. Even as the sun came up that day and the other man already got out of bed, he didn't wake up for a while. When he did wake up though, he didn't get out of bed just yet. Looking over next to him he was a bit surprised at first when he didn't see Scott there. But after thinking for a minute, he figured he was probably in some other room. Yawning softly, Grey sat up in bed and blinked a little, getting accustomed to the bright sunlight coming into the room.
Throwing the blankets off himself, he got out of bed and grabbed one of his pajama shirts, pulling it on quickly. Covering his mouth with his hand as he yawned again, he walked into the kitchen and smiled lightly seeing Scott. At times he could be pretty nasty to him he knew, but it seemed like he was always forgiven, so he didn't stop. Even if he did feel kind of bad afterwards sometimes. That morning though, he was in a pretty good mood. Grey wasn't exactly sure if the other male knew he was there yet, but he didn't bother saying anything anyway.
Walking over to Scott, he stepped up behind him and wrapped his arms around Scott's waist gently. Placing a light kiss on his neck, he laughed softly and grinned. Well you're up early today. he said, letting go of the other man and smiling gently, looking at the food cooking. Glancing around the kitchen after a second, he thought about what he could do before turning back to Scott. So, need help with anything? he asked. Without waiting for too much of an answer, he went and sat down at the table, watching Scott still and smiling a little. Oh, and whatever you're cooking smells really good. he said quickly with a slight nod.
(( fail post. sorry. ))

He hadn’t heard Grey enter the kitchen only helping to startle the twenty three year old who jumped slightly as the younger male wrapped his arms around his waist. “A-ah, good morning to you too,” he replied softly, shivering at the gentle kiss that was placed on his neck. With how sweet Grey was being this morning the twenty three year old often had trouble believing that the younger male could turn into such a violent person. Last week’s episode had left bruises on his torso that hadn’t yet faded even though it had happened quite a few days ago. Raising one hand, the bartender self-consciously rubbed one of his bruises, flinching as his fingers brushed against the cloth covered chest.
“I don’t need help, just sit.” Scott hummed softly as he finished up cooking. He took out two plates from the cupboard on the side and began to pile them up with food before setting them down at the table. The young man turned off the stove and dug around in the refrigerator for a moment before produce a jug of orange juice and some maple syrup. Grabbing some cups with his other hand, Scott settled everything onto the table. He had almost forgotten to grab knives and forks, but that was quickly dealt with and then the man could finally sit down at the table. “Careful, everything is still a bit hot,” he commented before pouring some juice for himself.
Wrinkling his nose a little, the bartender took a sip of his orange juice and gently placed the cup back down onto the table. He scratched at his chest again before looking up at the younger boy, giving him an innocent look. “Did you sleep good? I hope I didn’t wake you.”

Laughing softly and grinning as Scott jumped a little, he shook his head softy. "Sorry. Didn't mean to scare you." he said to him. Frowning slightly as he saw Scott flinch, he decided to leave it alone for now and not say anything. Remembering what had happened that day last week, he almost zoned out for a moment. Shaking his head again to clear his mind quickly, he looked back over at Scott as he brought everything to the table. Looking down at the plates as they were set down, he smiled lightly and nodded a tiny bit. "Okay. It looks really good too." Pulling one of the plates towards himself, he picked up the maple syrup, pouring a bit over the food on his plate before taking a few bites.
"Mmm. It is good." he stated, glancing back up at Scott and smiling. Hearing his question he shook his head quickly, laughing softly. "Yeah I slept pretty good. You didn't wake me up. I didn't even know you got out of bed. You must've been quiet." Bringing the glass of orange juice to his lips, he drank some quickly before placing it back on the table. "How about you? You sleep good last night?" he asked, tilting his head to the side a bit and looking at Scott.
When he wanted to, Grey could be pretty nice to people. It was just when he got mad that he turned into the violent, nasty person not many people knew he could be. But that morning, he was pretty content with everything. Nothing was really bothering him, and he found it was pretty easy to just be happy right then. And to him, that was a pretty good thing. He was never really sure why some mornings he woke up in good moods, and others terrible moods, and he never bothered to find out. It was just how he always was, even though it certainly had gotten worse as he'd grown older. Plus, he never thought it was too big of a deal anyway, whether other people did or not.

No, don’t worry about it I wasn’t listening, that’s all. The man replied as he turned off the stove. He was careful to try and hide his injuries, but the twenty three year old was sure Grey had seen him wince. It wasn’t like it mattered though as the twenty one year old was the one who had inflicted them in the first place. He knew all too well that they were there no matter how hard Scott tried to cover them up or pretend they didn’t exist. Instead the college student turned his focus onto feeding the younger male, watching him quietly as he doused his food in maple syrup. Well it’s good to know that I can still, he said, offering the younger man a broad grin. Wouldn’t be too good if I gave you food poisoning.
Actually that kind of thing would have warranted a beating in his head, so Scotty prayed that he had cooked everything properly. Would you even want me to wake you up? I tried not to bother you when I got up this morning. The brunette shrugged a little as he started to pick through his food, nibbling on a piece of bacon. It tasted pretty good to the young man, he was pretty damn pleased with himself for being able to cook a decent breakfast after so long. Umm, I slept pretty good, he replied, swallowing down some food before continuing, It’s really comfortable when I share with you.
Biting down on his lip, the bartender went back to his food and continued to eat- slowly chewing and savouring the taste. He’d look up occasionally, letting his eyes flicker over the younger male before working the courage to speak up. So... you got anything planned today? Scott placed his fork on the plate, watching him with an innocent look. I was wondering if you wanted to hang out... or something.
