Tour. On tour, with the band. Me Against Me. On tour. Caitrin Zayden, the bassist for this band, personally, loved it. The feeling of being on stage, preforming what she loved doing most, and making money for it. Not that Trin really cared about the money. All she really wanted was to make people smile, which she did, usually on a daily basis.
She was on the floor when she woke up. Wondering how she had managed to do that, she moved her slightly aching bones to sit up on her bed. Her dyed black mass of hair stuck up all over her head, and mostly, hung in her eyes. She stared at nothing for a couple of minutes, waiting for her body to actually wake up instead of being stuck with a drousy sleepiness heavying her limbs.
When that optimistic energy Caitrin was blessed with finally took hold, she stood, stretched, and moved to search her rather messy room. Finding her hairbrush, she tripped out of the room to find a mirror to do her hair.
After what some (mainly males) people would describe as too long a time in the bathroom, her hair was exactly the way she wanted it. Annoyingly, she kept running her fingers through it. A reflex action to keep it the way it was. Grinning, she moved to get dressed. Setting her slightly worn, but nevertheless much loved converse to the side, she pulled out yet another out of a seemingly endless set of black pair of skinny jeans, and threw them on. A cute little panda shirt, and an All Time Low hoodie. And of course, her i-Pod. Her mind had one destination in mind.
Sofie's coffee shop.
The last time she'd been there, she'd been getting picked up by Abner, or as most called him, Nerdo. A boy she didn't know where she stood with. A boy who she'd crushed on madly since she'd first met him.
A boy related Mira, the fellow girl of the band. Therefore, he was obviously untouchable. How cruel fate was, sometimes. But, she had decided ages ago not to judge her life like that when there were people with much worse lives than her.
So she tried not to think of this as she picked money out from under her pillow and left the bus with a vague goodbye waves in someone's direction as she left.
She's Always A Woman Sung by Fyfe Dangerfield played on her i-Pod. Not a typical Caitrin song, but she enjoyed it as she walked through the Texas streets, her head down as she listened to the music rolling in her headphones. Soon, she passed the corner shop, and she made a mental note to sometime get some more cola laces.
Sofie's coffee shop was a homely little place, warm, and it smelled sweet. She moved swiftly to the counter with a smile. The cashier smiled back. Trin had become a regular at the quiet little place.
“A hot chocolate, please, with milk. Stirred. Thanks.” She said swiftly and loudly as she struggled to hear outside of her headphones. She pointed over to the window tables to indicate she would be sitting there, and turned on her heel, practically running to sit down in one of the chairs. And so, she closed her eyes, listened to her music, and waited for her drink to arrive.
Just a typical Caitrin day.
um, i'd like to say, that the site is really pretty ... and i hope i can get accepted and join in on some fun soon. :]
