The white powder stared back up at Julia, teasing her and begging her to take a hit. It always did this to her, it toyed with her inner emotions. She had been lingering in and out of using coke like a revolving door and it only served to make her life a living hell every time she stepped back in to the game. This was the temptation though, the people that she hung around, the same people that she danced with and for every night of the week. She would get some money saved up and then she would fall back in to this fucking lull that she was in. She would wind up in the bathroom of the nightclub, or of the strip joint snorting a line with one of the girls or one of the regulars. Nothing was stopping her now, nothing at all, she had a rolled up five dollar bill in her hand and she was leaning in to the white substance now. There was no stopping her now as she quickly inhaled the white dust and stood up, letting it slowly move about her system. This was her life, she had come to realize. There was no getting out of this. There were only a select few people that knew about her problem. Most people thought she would do it now and then for a kick, but what they didn’t know was that this was her weakness. The coke was the only thing that kept her away from her son, Riley. Her mother wouldn’t let her near him and Jules hadn’t found the strength to get away from it all.
Settling back against the stall bathroom, she gave a lazy smirk to the girl that was sharing her stash with her. Licking her lips, she nodded her head to the girl as she left the bathroom after picking up her things. Jules glanced at herself in the mirror and cleaned herself up a bit. Her eyeliner was a bit smudged and her makeup was a bit in disarray. Running her long fingers through her red hair, she checked herself out and then left the dingy bathroom to slip in to the dark nightclub. There were people everywhere and no one would notice that she was tripping, hell half the people in the club tonight were probably high on something. Heading to the bar, she smirked at the familiar face behind the counter and ordered a drink. She knew she wouldn’t be paying for her drinks tonight, that was the good part about knowing people that worked around this town, they hooked you up if you hooked them up. Taking the shot from the cute guy, she tossed it back and let her gaze move back around the dancing bodies. People were grinding all over each other. She bit down on her bottom lip and wondered what had made her come to a nightclub of all places on her night off? She knew the answer, but she was going to deny it now. Using the back of her hand, she wiped at her nose before heading out to the dance floor, her heeled feet moving around the floor easily as she slipped in to a groove on the dance floor.
