This was the third time he had slept through his alarm. So, it was the third time that he had accidentally skipped class. It’s not like he did it on purpose, and it’s not like he went out the night before and got so fucked up he couldn’t remember his own name. Instead, he had spent last night catching up on homework and projects. So why he was tired was beyond him, but what did wake him up was the fact that the sun was shining on his closed eyes. When they had fluttered open and noticed that it was now after eleven he jumped up and let out a curse word. He had an hour of class left so there was no point in showering and getting ready. But he still felt bad about missing. He hated when he missed just one class, especially when it was his music class, but that was not today. Today was his math class, the one that he needed for transferring to the music college of his dreams. So, while the water was running and getting warm he calmed down. He would explain and make up whatever homework he had tomorrow. Yes, that sounded like a good plan.
After his shower was over he felt so much more cleaner. He then shaved his face to get rid of any unwated facial hair and brushed his slightly long hair. Yep, this was how he spent every morning getting ready, and it would be how he would keep getting ready probably for a while too. So he went back into his room, his towel wrapped around his waist, and rummaged through his drawers for something to wear. The beauty of having a single dorm was that he didn’t have to worry about his towel magically falling off or someone pulling it off. He had considered getting a roommate before but actually he made a lot of friends just living by his own, so he decided against it. Levi had decided to just wear a simple gray shirt and a pair of black pants. It was not the most fashionable outfit ever but he wasn’t going into fashion deisgn, so it did not matter. He then threw on a pair of socks and his sneakers and then rummaged through his closet for his black sweater. It was so warm and so comfy that he just about adored it. And actually he had loaned it to an ex a while back and he just got it back. Crazy right?
He grabbed his books and all the other stuff that he needed for school and shoved it in his backpack. He was going to go to the park to get most of it done. He needed to, mostly because he wanted nothing to do tomorrow. He wanted to be lazy and in order to do that he had to get everything done. So that was the goal, to get done by the time dinner rolled around. He would most likely not do that. Levi would probably get close to it, but he would not really finish until last minute the night before it was due. He grabbed his keys and made sure he had everything before he walked out the door and drove away to the peaceful place.
It was definitely peaceful. The weather was okay, it was not really that warm but it was not cold either. he found a picnic table and sat down, immediately emptying the contents of his backpack and getting to work. He had no time to waste.
